One of the most important people who will talk about your company are your own employees. They are your internal brand ambassadors; they are the ones who will extrapolate your inner culture outside; they are the one’s writing and expressing on social media either directly or indirectly. Their peers, colleagues, friends, family and ex-colleagues all of these people are a big circle.
As a leader, founder; your first set of employees are your foundation team. They are the one’s who will play a vital role in laying a solid foundation for more to come. They are also your internal branding. One of the best ways to attract talent from the market when you are starting off your brand – is employee testimonials. They go a big way in attracting talent with tier 1 & 2 qualifications or experience. You as a start up will then have to pay more to attract such talent. But the right communication in your job description might just lure the right candidate who is out there build legacy, value and a good idea.
This also starts by creating an ‘irresistible employment experience’ for them. As a business owner, while you work for creating an irresistible customer experience, an internal customer = your employee; might just be the person who can ensure you are well spoken for on the right forums, ORGANICALLY. No paid PR. This goes a long way in establishing you as a serious company and not a bunch of young pumped-up kids, fiddling with ideas on a limited budget.
